Why is there a charge from Whim (formerly Fragile) on my statement?

If you see a charge or email from Whim—or previously under the name Fragile—it is not fraudulent.

Whim is a third-party partner offering a month-to-month subscription for the RPLATE as an alternative to purchasing the hardware outright.

How billing works

If you chose the Whim hardware subscription:

  • Your monthly charge includes both the RPLATE hardware and the service plan in a single bundled fee.

  • You do not pay a separate service plan fee to Reviver.

  • The RPLATE is rented, not owned.

  • If you cancel the subscription, the plate must be returned.

If you purchased the RPLATE outright instead, Reviver bills your service plan separately.

Why you might see charges from both Whim and Reviver

Subscription customers typically only see Whim (or legacy Fragile) charges.

The only charge you might receive from Reviver is a registration renewal fee if you complete your vehicle registration renewal through the Reviver app.
