Why You’re Seeing “DETACHED PLATE”
Your Battery RPLATE contains a built-in sensor that detects contact with the mounting bracket.
You may see “DETACHED PLATE” if:
The plate is not yet installed
The plate was removed from the bracket
The mounting bracket is bent or misaligned
The mounting screws are not fully tightened
This message is expected anytime the plate is removed from the vehicle.
How to Clear the “DETACHED PLATE” Message
Step 1: Verify the Plate Is Properly Installed
If the plate is already mounted:
Remove the plate from the bracket
Inspect the metal mounting bracket for bends or damage
Reinstall the plate carefully
Tighten all mounting screws fully and evenly
The sensor requires solid contact to detect that the plate is securely installed.
Step 2: Authorize the Plate in the Reviver App
Once the plate is securely mounted:
Open the Reviver app
Follow the prompt to confirm the plate was removed and reinstalled
Authorize the plate when prompted
Only the owner can complete this authorization. Once approved, the “DETACHED PLATE” message should clear automatically.
If the Plate Is Not Yet Installed
If your plate is not yet mounted, the “DETACHED PLATE” message is expected and will remain visible until installation and authorization are complete.
Do not attempt to clear the message until the plate is properly installed.
If the Message Does Not Clear
If “DETACHED PLATE” remains visible after installation and authorization:
Double-check that the bracket is not bent
Confirm all screws are fully tightened
Restart the plate by pressing and holding the Home Button for 10 seconds
Re-open the Reviver app and re-authorize if prompted
If the issue persists, the mounting hardware may not be making proper contact.
