How do I install my RPLATE?

Your Battery RPLATE is designed to be self-installed using the Reviver app and the mounting hardware included in the box.

Updated over a month ago

If you have an invitation email from Reviver, follow the steps in the email, as your RPLATE may already be set up by the dealer or the previous owner, if received a used RPLATE.

If your RPLATE new, in the box, and has not been set up yet, follow these steps.

Step 1: Download the app

Download the Reviver app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Create your account and activate

Open the app, create your account, and follow the prompts to upload:

  • A photo of your current metal license plate

  • A photo of your vehicle registration

These are used to verify your registration and activate your RPLATE.

Step 3: Wait for activation approval

Once your information is submitted, Reviver will review and verify it. This typically takes 1–3 business days.

When verification is complete, you’ll receive a notification by email and in the app letting you know it’s time to update your RPLATE to display your license plate number.

If your plate shows a “Detached” message:
Make sure the RPLATE is touching the included metal mounting bracket. The plate has a sensor that detects when it isn’t attached. Once the plate and bracket are in contact, the message should clear and allow you to continue.

Step 4: Install the plate on your vehicle

After your RPLATE is displaying your license plate number, attach it to your vehicle using the universal mounting bracket included in the box.

You can follow the DIY installation guide included in the box.
