Can I display a disabled license plate image on my RPLATE?

RPLATE supports license plate designs that include Disabled Person or Disabled Veteran icons when those icons are part of the official license plate.

Updated over a month ago

When your RPLATE is first set up, you’ll be asked to provide:

  • A photo of your metal license plate

  • Your current vehicle registration

This information is used to verify your registration with the DMV and ensure the correct plate number and plate design—including any disabled or veteran indicators—is displayed on your RPLATE.

Disabled placards vs. disabled plates

Disabled placards that hang from a rearview mirror or are placed on the dashboard are not part of the license plate design. These placards do not require any change to your RPLATE image.

If you’re unsure whether your disability designation is part of your license plate or a separate placard, Reviver Support can help confirm what applies to your vehicle.
