Your RPLATE is a valid license plate issued through your home state’s motor vehcile authority. All U.S. states recognize valid out-of-state license plates, regardless of design or technology.
To remain compliant:
Your RPLATE must be active and properly registered
Your vehicle registration must be current
Your RPLATE must be securely mounted and clearly visible
Note: Digital license plates can only be purchased and registered in states that authorize them.
