Because an RPLATE displays official registration information, ownership must be properly assigned before use.
What you do next depends on how you received the plate.
If the RPLATE Was Gifted to You (Not Installed)
If someone gave you an RPLATE (for example, as a gift), you should receive a claim email from Reviver.
How to claim your gifted RPLATE
Open the claim email sent to you by Reviver
Follow the link to create or sign in to your Reviver account
Enter your vehicle information and upload your registration when prompted
Once completed, Reviver will review your documents and activate the plate under your account.
Didn’t receive a claim email?
If you believe an RPLATE was gifted to you but never received a claim email, contact Reviver Support. We can resend the claim or help verify the transfer.
If the RPLATE Came Installed on a Vehicle You Purchased
If you bought a vehicle with an RPLATE already installed, the plate is still linked to the previous owner’s account until it’s officially transferred.
What to do
Create your own Reviver account (if you don’t already have one)
Contact Reviver Support and let us know you purchased a vehicle with an RPLATE installed
Upload proof of ownership (your DMV registration) when requested
A $49 transfer-of-ownership fee applies. Once the transfer is approved, the plate will activate under your account.
Important Things to Know
An RPLATE cannot be activated until it is linked to your account
Billing and service follow the account, not the physical plate
Ownership changes are carefully verified for security reasons
RPLATE Wired models are typically tied to a specific vehicle and cannot be transferred
