Why can’t I personalize my RPLATE?

There are a few common reasons why personalization options may not be available.

Updated over a month ago

You’re still using a temporary plate

Personalization isn’t available while your vehicle is using a temporary plate. Once you’ve updated your RPLATE to your permanent plate number, personalization options should appear in the app.

Your service plan isn’t active

An active service plan is required to personalize your RPLATE. If your plan isn’t current, personalization options may be unavailable until your service is updated.

The app isn’t connected to your plate

To apply personalization changes, the Reviver app must be connected to your RPLATE. Make sure Bluetooth is on and your phone is synced to the plate. If you’re having trouble connecting, follow the in-app prompts to reconnect.

Personalization isn’t allowed in your state

Some states don’t currently allow banner messages or other personalization features. In these cases, the option won’t appear in the app.
