How to Update Your Payment Method to Prevent Deactivation

Why your service was deactivated

Updated over a month ago

If your RPLATE service is deactivated or you received a payment failure notice, it means the annual service renewal charge could not be processed. This most commonly happens when the card on file has expired, been replaced, or was declined.

When a renewal payment fails, the service plan is suspended. While the plate continues to display its last valid image, connected features such as updates, customization, and remote communication are disabled until payment is received.

Reviver sends renewal and payment notifications in the app and by email, but service will still pause if payment is not completed.

How to update your payment method and restore service

Open the Reviver mobile app and update your payment method:

  1. Open the Reviver app.

  2. Go to Account.

  3. Select Service Plan then Payment Methods.

  4. Add a new card or update the existing one.

  5. Make sure the correct card is set as the default payment method.

  6. Save your changes.

Once payment is successfully processed, your service will begin reactivating. Full service restoration may take up to 24 hours to complete.
