Does PNO Pause My Reviver Service Plan?
No. Filing for PNO status with the DMV does not automatically pause or cancel your Reviver Service Plan.
Separate Services: Your DMV fees cover the legal right to operate the vehicle on public roads. Your Reviver Service Plan covers the LTE network connection, GPS features (if applicable), and app connectivity for the digital plate.
Maintaining Connectivity: To keep your RPLATE connected to the network so it can receive future updates or report its location (if stolen while stored), you must maintain an active Service Plan, even if the vehicle is not being driven
Can I Cancel My Service While the Car is Stored?
Yes, you can choose to cancel your Reviver Service Plan while the vehicle is in PNO status, but please note the following consequences:
The Display: The RPLATE will stop updating. It will permanently display the last image received (the expired registration) until it is reconnected.
Reactivation: If you cancel the service now, you will need to purchase a new Service Plan and re-provision the plate when you decide to drive the vehicle again.
How to Restore Active Status (Moving from PNO to Operating)
When you are ready to drive the vehicle again, follow these steps to update your digital tags:
Pay the DMV: Pay your renewal fees directly to the DMV to remove the PNO status.
Upload Proof: Once you receive your new registration card or online confirmation, open the Reviver App.
Update the Plate: Navigate to your vehicle, select "Update License Plate," and upload a photo of your new registration document.
Sync: The Reviver team will verify the document, and your RPLATE will update to show the new expiration year.
Physical Compliance
Even while in PNO status, the RPLATE should remain physically attached to the vehicle. Please remember that a vehicle with PNO status cannot legally be parked on public streets.
