Why Is My Plate Still Showing “Pending Verification”?

What “Pending Verification” means

Updated over a month ago

“Pending Verification” means your plate update or setup is going through a required security review. This review is normal and helps confirm ownership and registration with your state’s motor vehicle authority before changes are finalized.

Verification is not instant. It typically completes within 1–2 business days, but it can take longer during weekends, holidays, or periods of high volume. Until verification finishes, your plate may continue showing its previous image or a temporary display.

This status does not usually indicate a problem. It means your request is waiting to be reviewed and approved.

What to do while verification is in progress

In most cases, no action is needed. The review will complete automatically, and you’ll receive an in-app notification when it’s done.

Make sure your phone is connected to your RPLATE via Bluetooth and that the Reviver app is allowed to connect. This ensures the updated plate image can be delivered as soon as verification completes. If pairing is required, the app will clearly prompt you on the home screen and guide you through the steps.

If the status remains unchanged for several days or you believe something is wrong, contact Reviver Support
