Bluetooth Not Connecting? Try This First

In many cases, Bluetooth connectivity issues are related to battery level or a stalled Bluetooth connection.

First: Check the Plate’s Battery Status in the App

A missing Bluetooth icon or an unresponsive screen often means the battery is too low to support Bluetooth.

Check battery status in the Reviver app:

  • If the battery is very low or critical, a warning may appear directly on the home screen

  • Otherwise, open Plate Settings by tapping the gear icon, select RPLATE Details, and check the Battery Status there

If the battery level is low, Bluetooth may not appear or connect reliably.

If the battery level looks good, continue to the next step.

Second: Forget the Plate in Your Phone’s Bluetooth Settings

If the plate was previously paired, your phone may be holding onto an old or corrupted connection.

On your phone:

  • Open phone's Bluetooth Settings

  • Find your RPLATE in the list of paired devices (it will begin with B8AB)

  • Tap Forget This Device (or Remove)

  • Turn Bluetooth off, then back on

This clears stale pairing data and often resolves pairing issues.

Third: Re-Pair in the Reviver App

After forgetting the device:

  • Open the Reviver app

  • Return to the home screen

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to pair the plate

  • Keep your phone close to the plate and the app open until pairing completes

If pairing is required, the app will guide you step by step.
