The RPLATE battery is replaceable, not rechargeable.
There is no charging port, and the battery cannot be recharged.
When a Battery Replacement Is Needed
You may need a new battery if you see:
“Critical Battery” or low-battery alerts
A frozen or blank screen
The plate no longer updates after a restart
Replacing the battery resolves most of these issues.
How to Get a Replacement Battery
Battery replacements are provided by Reviver to ensure proper fit and weather sealing.
What to Expect
Contact Reviver Support through the app or Help Center
Support will confirm the issue and send a shipping invoice
Once shipping is paid, a replacement battery is mailed to you
The package includes printed installation instructions
Important Installation Reminder
When installing the new battery:
Follow the instructions included in the box
Ensure the battery door is fully closed and flush with the plate housing
A battery door that is not completely sealed can allow water to enter the plate and cause permanent damage.
If the Screen Appears Frozen After Replacement
After installing a new battery, the plate may take a short time to recognize the replacement.
If your screen appears frozen:
Allow the new battery to sit in the plate for 5 minutes
If the plate does not restart automatically, press and hold the Home Button for 10 seconds to reboot
This delay is normal and does not indicate a failed battery or installation.
